Analyst/Associate, Multifamily Asset Management

Asset Management Analysts help ARA execute its operating strategy on its national real estate investment portfolio.

Based in ARA’s Los Angeles or Chicago office, this role supports ARA’s Asset Management team in driving exceptional performance from a portfolio of Class A multifamily real estate assets to help ARA’s clients meet their investment goals.

How?

Using your one to three years of asset management experience, you will develop a thorough understanding of the firm’s asset and property management policies, procedures, and guidelines by working closely with a team of experts in the multifamily asset class.

After the first year, you will know you were successful if:
You have developed a broad understanding of joint venture agreements, loan documents, lease agreements, property management agreements, development agreements, service contracts, and title documents used by ARA to manage the assets in the portfolio successfully.
You have conducted thorough market research to validate asset acquisition or new development underwriting and the proposed market positioning and strategy for several assets.
Assisted ARA asset managers and other associates with leasing and operations activities such as extracting data and metrics from industry-leading software to support the development of strategic business plans and operating budgets.
