Key Responsibilities, include but are not limited to the following:Outwards Reinsurance analysis:Actuarial pricing and analytics responsibility for outwards casualty reinsuranceAnalyze and identify portfolios across the AIG Group to identify opportunities for outwards cessionsStructuring placements: focusing on designing and structuring of placements, evaluating the cost / benefit in order to maximise utility for AIGAssisting with all other aspects of the outwards reinsurance process including wording, marketing and placementMaintain an up-to-date view of industry developments to ensure actuarial pricing is applying best in class methodologies Representation and interactions on Accounts:Assist in preparing the outward reinsurance submissions to brokers and marketsStrengthen relationships by engaging brokers and markets in discussions relating to submission issues, technical matters and pricing selectionsEngage and interact with business units to source data, understand the exposure and discuss potential solutionsUtilize discussions to present and convince partners of our view.Portfolio OversightWork in conjunction with the ERM team to capture and maintain company exposures and provide parameterizations for regulatory and capital modelling requirementsAssist the Reserving team to validate and improve assumptionsPerform Retro optimization, assist in identifying needs and evaluate proposal Required Skills/Experience/Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
