Special emphasis for these efforts will be in areas such as high throughput functional genomics, genome editing and control, and protein engineering.As part of this effort, you will be working with a multi-disciplinary team of computational biologists, molecular biologists, and chemists.
Using your outstanding computer science and bioinformatics expertise, deep understanding of the applications of interest and of relevant publicly available content, you will design, develop, and test compelling assay designs, analyze generated data using existing and novel approaches, and, together with the team, translate these results into insights driving novel application development.
These technologies will have a tangible impact on advancing the next generation of research and clinical capabilities for studying disease, developing therapeutics, and producing high-value compounds.In this role, you will communicate progress, results, challenges and opportunities to management and technical leadership, to selected external organizations, including collaborators, and, when appropriate, to the general scientific community via presentations at scientific conferences and in peer-reviewed publications.
