AESTHETICA LA: Plastic Surgery And Hand Surgery Front Desk

We are a boutique plastic and hand surgery office looking for an employee to perform mainly front desk/billing duties and deliver top notch customer service to our clientele.

Athenahealth EHR familiarity is a plus.

A polished professional appearance is a must.

This is a full time position 9 AM-5 PM.

The doctor will contact you if interested.Tasks include:Warmly greet and check-in patientsAnswer phones and schedule appointmentsKeep a detailed record of all missed, cancelled, rescheduled appointmentsFollow-up with previous patientsConfirm all patients weeklyCall and text patients with appointment confirmationsRoom PatientsClean Patient RoomsFiling of loose paperwork and patient chartsPrepare and ship packages for online/phone ordersKeep front office and reception area clean and tidyEnsure proper consents and paperwork filled out at registrationAssist with insurance verificationData Entry of new patient informationPrep Patient chartsFollow up with Insurances for patient claims and appealsSkills Required:Extremely detail orientedAbility to take initiative and to anticipate the needs of patients and the businessAbility to multi-task, and wear many hats no task too big or too small mentalityHigh-energy, friendly and outgoing demeanorExudes a passion for customer service and going the extra mileStrong computer/office skillsStrong phone skills – pleasant phone voice, with ability to manage multiple phone linesEager to learnExcellent communication written/verbal and typing skillsTeam player mentality willingness to help and take initiativePunctual.
