AECOM: Sr Electrical Field Engineer

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Senior Electrical Field Engineer based in Arlington, Virginia area.The Senior Field Electrical Engineer is responsible for providing technical subject matter expertise and consulting on power distribution systems and controls associated with new construction and facility renovations.

This professional will provide both independent design review and consulting as well as onsite construction field inspections/test observations in support of AECOM’s construction management and commissioning services.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Provide technical peer review of design, shop drawings, submittalsInitiates and leads quality assurance and commissioning from design through post-occupancyLeads development of electrical commissioning specifications and electrical test procedures required to validate the installation and performance of power distribution systems and controlsLead Quality Control Verifier for AECOM developed commissioning proceduresInterface with clients on schedules, meetings and issues (manage client expectations)Advise senior management of the project status on a regular basisAnticipate potential schedule or priority delays and initiate plans for alternative actionsComplies with AECOM project manager guidelines and reporting duties including but not limited toProject ExecutionProject DeadlinesClient CommunicationTeam UtilizationAt AECOM, we’re delivering a better world.We believe infrastructure creates opportunity for everyone.
