Qualified applicants will be considered without regard to age, race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, nationality, sex or veteran status.Responsibilities and DutiesThe Advanced Metrology Engineer directly reports to and is accountable to the the Director of Engineering and will be responsible for expanding Metrology Lab capabilities.Ability to recommend and implement best practices including latest technology trends in the quality/metrology industry that will fit current and future needsLead capabilities development of both people and equipment, to include programing, training, GD& T training, equipment maintenance and calibration, and new technology implementationManages budget for test lab by monitoring spending both internally and externally on a continuous basisEvaluate work request for requirements and completeness.
Coordinates engineers and technicians accordingly while monitoring progress and resolving issuesPromotes and maintains a metrics-driven service organization with a defined system to accept, prioritize, and track work requestsLeads department continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives
