It’s all we do.Position: ACI Learning seeks a VP of Product Commercialization to manage a growing product management department.

The VP of Product Commercialization will work closely with the Director of Customer Experience and Director of Content and Programming to ensure products are well positioned in the market, performing, and satisfy customer needs.

Ultimately, they will set the go-to-market vision for each product set, drive packaging and pricing decisions, and manage the successful launch of new products.

The VP of Product Commercialization should be a systems thinker, an operator, someone who can pull disparate pieces together into a functioning whole through building consensus and removing obstacles.This position reports to the Chief Product Officer and can be located anywhere.

The Ideal Candidate: Has a demonstrated track record of successfully launching new products.Is familiar with market research methodologies.Has significant experience in product pricing and positioning.Has a demonstrated track record of effectively managing people and deadline-based projects.Has proven success communicating and translating information across internal stakeholder groups.Can build consensus through listening, data validation, and persuasion.Has the ability to overcome obstacles and unforeseen circumstances to support team members in completing projects.Has the ability to handle difficult conversations with tact and compassion.Can give a great sales pitch.Has the follow through and leadership to ensure new processes are adopted.Can lead by example as an enthusiastic collaborator.Interacts with others using sound judgment, good humor, and consistent fairness in a fast-paced environment.Is nonthreateningly confident, with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.Puts the user experience first.Is discreet and has demonstrated the ability to manage confidential information.Is a highly responsible individual, who takes ownership, and can accomplish tough tasks.Has a strong belief that technical training can be transformational.Exhibits meticulous attention to detail.Possesses outstanding oral and written communication skills.Displays the highest levels of integrity.Operates with a strong work ethic, requiring minimal supervision.Is a good teammate.Works well remotely.Can learn technology quickly.Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end go-to-market processes from product conception, research, development, launch, and support.Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams on product pricing.Write the business plans behind product launches.Leverage data to make product adjustments.Ensure products are profitable and growing.Calculate ROI on new product ideas.Act as a product evangelist and hub for all product feedback.Support the Executive Leadership Team in evaluating possible mergers and acquisitions.Manage requests for product packaging to support sales opportunities.Support the Channel and Partnerships team in expanding partnership opportunities.Collaborate with the Director of Customer Experience to remove friction from buying paths.Collaborate with Marketing to write personas and profiles to drive marketing plans.Collaborate with the Director of Content and Programming to ensure roadmaps are effective in driving revenue growth.Perform other duties, as assigned.Requirements: Ability to travel 5-25%.8 10 years experience in product sales, marketing, or commercialization.3 4 years proven experience working in training, education, or learning and development.Meaningful experience leading through influence.Exceptional communication skills.Strong subscription sales familiarity.Experience working with technical content.Experience with Salesforce.Strong analytical or data science skills.Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and influencing teams and individuals; ability to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse global teams.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Benefits of Working for ACI Learning:Medical, dental, and vision insurance – eligible 1st of the month after date of hire.
