Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist, who will report to the Controller and be responsible for managing all accounts receivables and maintaining the collections processes, policies, and procedures.

You have strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy, with proven knowledge of balance sheet account reconciliations and schedules.
Responsibilities:
Daily invoice creation and submission via QuickBooks Online and EDI
Ensure payment of accounts receivables and maintain full collections process
Manage invoicing, adjustments, cash application, check deposits, and deductions
Book and reconcile deductions, invoices, and bank deposits
Reconcile and post payments (checks, credit cards, ACH, Wires and PayPal)
Verify discrepancies and chargebacks, appeal if applicable and resolve customer billing issues
Document and improve all accounts receivables processes and procedures
Assist with and ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial report preparation and audit requests
Increase organizational capability through training and development of other Staff Accountants
Requirements
2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
BA/BS in Accounting or related field
Fundamental knowledge of general accounting procedures and US GAAP
Ability to run and analyze financial reports
Ability to thrive in a quick-paced, ever-changing environment with minimal oversight
Attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of cash applications
Advanced Excel knowledge
Quickbooks Online or Quickbooks Enterprise experience
Located in Southern California
Knowledge of Bill.com and Expensify a plus
Experience in consumer packaged goods a plus
