A distribution company in Vernon, CA., is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist on a contract to hire basis. If you have a minimum of two years of Accounts Payable experience, enjoy working in a fast paced environment and looking to take the next step in your career, please apply!

Description:

  • Review detailed invoices for accuracy and proper documentation
  • Enter and upload invoices into accounting software
  • Process a high volume of invoices and check requests
  • Maintain copies of invoices, purchase orders and approvals
  • Research and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain vendor information
  • Communicate with vendors as needed
  • Assist with account reconciliations
  • Assist with month end close
  • Requirements:

  • Two years of recent accounts payable experience
  • Retail, Manufacturing, or consumer goods experience
  • Technically savvy Intermediate MS Excel skills required
