A distribution company in Vernon, CA., is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist on a contract to hire basis. If you have a minimum of two years of Accounts Payable experience, enjoy working in a fast paced environment and looking to take the next step in your career, please apply!

Description:

Review detailed invoices for accuracy and proper documentation

Enter and upload invoices into accounting software

Process a high volume of invoices and check requests

Maintain copies of invoices, purchase orders and approvals

Research and resolve discrepancies

Maintain vendor information

Communicate with vendors as needed

Assist with account reconciliations

Assist with month end close

Requirements:

Two years of recent accounts payable experience

Retail, Manufacturing, or consumer goods experience

Technically savvy Intermediate MS Excel skills required
