Pay: $24 – $27 per hour (Based on Experience)

Education: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

Experience: 2+ years of prior experience in accounts payable, preferably in the entertainment industry

Our client, a prominent organization in the entertainment industry, is looking for an experienced AP individual to join their accounts payable team with the potential for permanent employment. If you have a background in processing high-volume invoices, strong Excel skills, and experience in the entertainment sector, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

As a Contract to Hire Accounts Payable Specialist, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Invoice Processing: Efficiently handle the processing of high-volume invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Accounts Payable: Perform tasks related to accounts payable, including matching and coding invoices.
  3. Month-End Close Assistance: Collaborate in activities related to month-end closing procedures.
  4. 1099s: Contribute to the preparation and issuance of 1099 forms as necessary.
  5. Journal Entries: Assist in the preparation and posting of journal entries.
  6. Multiple Entity Familiarity: Navigate tasks related to multiple entities within the organization.
  7. Vendor Communication: Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment and invoice inquiries.

Qualifications:

  1. 2+ years of prior experience in accounts payable, with a preference for candidates with a background in the entertainment industry.
  2. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  3. Multiple Entity Familiarity
  4. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
  5. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial data entry.
  6. Effective communication and organizational skills.
