Experience: 2+ years of prior experience in accounts payable, preferably in the entertainment industry
Our client, a prominent organization in the entertainment industry, is looking for an experienced AP individual to join their accounts payable team with the potential for permanent employment. Responsibilities:
As a Contract to Hire Accounts Payable Specialist, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Invoice Processing: Efficiently handle the processing of high-volume invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Accounts Payable: Perform tasks related to accounts payable, including matching and coding invoices.
- Month-End Close Assistance: Collaborate in activities related to month-end closing procedures.
- 1099s: Contribute to the preparation and issuance of 1099 forms as necessary.
- Journal Entries: Assist in the preparation and posting of journal entries.
- Multiple Entity Familiarity: Navigate tasks related to multiple entities within the organization.
- Vendor Communication: Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment and invoice inquiries.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of prior experience in accounts payable, with a preference for candidates with a background in the entertainment industry.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Multiple Entity Familiarity
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial data entry.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
