Robert Half has an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk opportunity that offers a stimulating work environment with a team of highly skilled professionals. The candidate in this position will be reporting to the Accounting Manager while attending to the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department. The candidate will primarily focus on matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. Key responsibilities
– Facilitate internal and external audits as needed
– Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
– Fullfill full-cycle A/P
– Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
– Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
– Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling
– Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily
– Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks
– Carry out additional projects as required
Job Requirements:
– 5+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
– AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
– Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
– Competent with spreadsheets and databases
– Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
– Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired
