We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting and Finance team.
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible primarily for assisting with the daily and monthly operation of the department through an Accounts Payable focus.
This role is IN PERSON only in Columbia, MO
– this role does NOT qualify for remote work.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following tasks: Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records Enter data into computer system using house systems Compile data and prepare a variety of reports Reconciles discrepancies with internal employees, or external vendors, or customers Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies Investigates questionable data and billing Support team members and provide assistance to other teams Performs other duties as required or assigned Job Requirements: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Strong attention to detail Strong work ethic and sense of urgency Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently and effectively Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, etc.) Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business or other related fields of study 10-key calculator skills, by touch Epicor P21 / SAP / or ERP skills a plus As Accounts Payable Specialist you will work with various computer-based systems and software, and create opportunities to support our continued and aggressive growth.
You’ll provide value at every level and interact with every area of our company, from Customer Service all the way up to the Executive Team.
