Must have strong manufacturing industry experience and will lead and mentor the AP team.Product is in high demand and company is growingCompany is moving fast if you are looking for a direct hire opportunity Excellent opportunity to join a publicly traded company.Duties for the Accounts Payable Lead:Responsible for the full cycle AP processWill mentor and lead the AP staffWill review invoicesStamp and mail payments to suppliers and vendorsMatch back up to invoices.Coordinate and process invoice payments to vendors.Communicate with suppliers regarding status of payments.Maintain files on account status, supplier information, and payments processed.Respond to suppliers’ requests for information regarding payments.Ensure all suppliers have the correct contact information.Develop and keep updated administrative instruction/directions and procedures for all major duties.Verify invoice data and other cost components are accurately input and updated.Interface with various departments and management on status of payables.Develop an action tracker for monitoring payables.On a weekly basis review status of payables with Corporate ControllerDevelop an incident tracking and aging report.Requirements for the Accounts Payable Lead:More than 3 years full-cycle Accounts Payable experienceManufacturing or distribution experience requiredLead or supervisory experienceStrong Excel skills (vlookup and pivot tables)Large ERP exposureStrong verbal and written communication skills
