The Accounts Payable Coordinator will be required to process a high-volume of AP invoices while interacting with different departments and offices.
This is a full-time staff role with benefits, and although we are currently working remotely, this position will eventually require working onsite in our Los Angeles studio.
Responsibilities:
- Process AP invoices by assigning proper g/l coding and obtaining proper documentation (e.g., W9, W8, and IC agreements) and approval
- Review vendor statements and resolve discrepancies/issues
- Coordinate weekly payment runs
- Reconcile credit card statements, PO reports, petty cash, and clearing accounts
- Process reimbursement claims and make sure claims adhere to company policy
- Process payroll check requests made by Human Resources
- File and maintain upkeep of vendor files
- Assist with 1099 preparation
- Fill out credit applications
- Respond to all inquiries and requests in a professional and timely manner
- Communicate with and assist the Finance department with month-end close tasks
- Perform other duties as needed
- 1+ year experience in Accounts Payable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a strong working knowledge of Excel
- Ability to work in a busy environment and meet tight deadlines
- Strong administrational and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to interact with different departments and with all levels of the organization
- Must be able to work efficiently and independently
- Possesses a positive attitude and willingness to take initiative
