Full-Time Job, M-F 8AM-5PM, Annual Salary: $40K – $60K. 1-hour lunch break with excellent benefits. (4 days in the office and 1 day working from home)

We are looking for a full-time Account Receivable Specialist to join our rapidly growing team! We look for good technical residential/commercial property management background.

Qualifications and Skills required:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 1+ years of accounting experience.
  • Must have at least 1+ years experience with AppFolio and/or Yardi.
  • Experience with residential/commercial property management a plus.
  • Technical accounting background and research skills desired.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in business related software: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, QuickBooks.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, with attention to details.
  • Works independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must live within 30 minutes driving to Studio City.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Participate in day-to-day accounting activities, such as (but not limited to): check deposits, ACH recording, posting NSF’s, tenant late fees.
  • Prepare and submit rent increases to tenants monthly.
  • Sending tenant statements to remind them of any past due invoices or prepayments/deposits and escalating to management if not receiving a timely response.
  • Reconcile and post utility billing to tenant accounts monthly.
  • Prepare weekly monthly of AR Aging to Management.
  • Prepare monthly reporting to clients.
  • Routinely reconcile tenant portal records to ensure accuracy.
  • Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from maintenance, purchasing, and from customers.
  • Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.
  • Communicate regularly with internal departments to facilitate resolution of problems.
  • Occasionally communicate to customers by phone to expedite payment of invoices and prepayment orders due.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
