Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.In this position, you will be the expert in delivering competitive bids, estimates and quotes to customers for Flow Computers and/or Natural Gas Chromatographs (NGCs) in North America and other countries – Brazil, Mexico, India, China, Canada, and others – through their Local Business Units (LBUs), as well as Engineered-to-Order (ETO) Integrated NGC and/or Automation Solution throughout North America Reporting to the ETO Technical Solution Engineering (TSE) Manager, your attention to detail and ability to negotiate with multiple partners will be vital to this key component of project planning.

Position is graded at global grade 14.Your responsibilities Ensuring timely and accurate creation of proposal documents through coordination with relevant stakeholdersManaging all aspects of the bid — including technical, financial, product management and risk reviewsCoordinating with the supply chain to identify suppliers for equipment and materials, through regular studies of customer needs and market trendsContributing to an effective, positive customer relationship throughout the sales processExamining and reporting on the results of tenders and identifying areas for improvement to increase success Your background A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business related field and 5 plus years of experience in preparing technical bids and ProposalsExperience preparing quotes within the technology sector is a plus, specifically within the Oil & Gas industry even more desirableRelevant (not required) products or services and applicable knowledge encouraged would include:Automation: Industrial Controllers/PLCs, Flow, Pressure & Volumetric Measurement Devices, Custom Mechanical or Electrical Assemblies, Programming & Technical Services and TrainingAnalyzers: Natural Gas Chromatograph, Analyzer Configuration Files, Stream Compositions, Analyzer requirements, Sample Conditioning Systems, Custom Mechanical, Electrical, or Hydraulic Assemblies, Programming & Technical Services and TrainingKnowledge of Chem-cad, Excel, Access, Salesforce, APCExcellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneouslyA collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong written and spoken communication skillsMust be proficient in English.
