What we’re looking for
Leading design and creative studio Brand New School is seeking a 3D Technical Generalist for full-time roles at our LA studio. Our team is creative, energetic, and full of talented, intelligent artists. With ~50 employees across the United States, we are a tight community with the shared goal of making great work.
You are a good fit if you are a well-rounded CG (maya) artist and are great at working in a team as well as independently. You are able to take creative direction and execute with perfection. You enjoy working on various aspects of a project and are willing to learn the skills need to complete the task.
You are also comfortable on some level with modeling, texturing, animation, lighting, rendering and some effects. You have some experience working in some sort of production team environment.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of most aspects of Maya
- Arnold Render strong plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Must be time-efficient, detail-oriented, organized
- Ability to work well on a team, with structure and deadlines
- Willingness to learn new skills
- 2-year minimum production experience
- C4D is a plus but not required
- Houdini is a plus but not required
- Substance Painter is a plus but not required
