At BEGiN, we have the rare opportunity to make a dent in the universe by bringing high-quality at-home learning to kids globally Reporting into our Head of Product , the 3D Artist will be instrumental in expanding codeSpark Academy , our platform used by over 30 million kids to learn the fundamentals of computer science.
You will: Generate creative vision and inspirational designs Model and texture 3D characters, props, and environments Design, rig, and animate 3D characters Work with art director and marketing team to maintain a cohesive brand and style Collaborate with game designers and gameplay programmers Must Haves: Talent for design and storytelling in a collaborative environment Maya real-time low-poly 3D modeling, rigging, and animation Proficiency in texture creation and mapping 3-5 years in game or entertainment industry Strong technical proficiency with version control, art pipeline, and Unity integration Strong portfolio of traditional drawing, sketching, or storyboarding skills Nice-to-Haves: Experience with mobile/tablet interface design Experience with Unity lighting, effects, and particle systems Education experience (teaching, coaching, tutoring, learning games, etc) We like people who: Are open to suggestions, collaborative, and thrive in team environments Love and are willing to learn new technologies and styles Are scrappy, entrepreneurial with the ability to turnaround high-quality projects quickly without depending on a large team What youll get: BEGiN offers competitive compensation including equity and full benefits.
