A progressive law firm is seeking a paralegal with 3+ years of litigation experience. This is an exciting opportunity for a paralegal who wants to join a tech-savvy firm and grow in their legal career!
This paralegal will have a huge variety of responsibilities, including trial and deposition prep, drafting legal documents, legal research, case management, etc. This paralegal will work on a variety of business and commercial litigation as well as some corporate bankruptcy and restructuring cases (they will train on the practice area). The ideal paralegal will have experience with document review and production. The ideal paralegal will have their paralegal certificate or be otherwise certified to bill time. The firm will give this paralegal the autonomy to handle substantive legal work!
This paralegal will join a full-service midsized firm that has been established in Los Angeles for 35+ years. My team has placed several candidates with this firm to rave reviews! This firm is very involved in the local community and they encourage their employees to do pro-bono work or advocate for causes they are passionate about.
The firm has a very reasonable 100 hour/month billable hour target for paralegals (and they are flexible about evaluating people based on the quality of their work over churning out a high quantity of hours). This firm will continue working 100% remotely for covid and they are evaluating their post-covid hybrid remote model.
