Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking an Operator I to join their team. As an Operator I, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production of high-quality medical devices. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to quality which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Operator I
Location: Sylmar, CA
Pay Range: $21.50 per hour
What’s the Job?
- Produce high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell.
- Perform assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, ICDs, leads, and related medical device assemblies.
- Ensure job documentation for cell operations is accurate and up to date.
- Communicate ideas, problems, and solutions effectively to all levels of manufacturing management.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes.
What’s Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Ability to prioritize work based on sequencing and importance.
- Capability to handle and maneuver small components and parts.
