**FULL-TIME, CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY, 4 – 6 MONTHS****Job Title: Sheet Metal/Structures Mechanic****Pay Rate: $30.00 – 40.00 Hourly****Job Description:**To assist in Aircraft sheet metal repairs to the highest quality standards to FAA requirements and customer specifications.Mixed fleet of Military Cargo Aircraft: C3, C5 and Gulfstream IV, V Assist in the repairs and assembly of various aircraft sheet metal products to engineering drawings, verbal instructions in compliance with Quality Management System (QMS). MUST have complete set of sheet metal tools Familiar with the installation of various aerospace fasteners, rivets, nutplates etc. Will work with various types of materials Must be detail oriented highly organized team player. Listens to and follow instruction and guidance from the Lead. Must be a team player and highly motivated. Must be mechanically dexterous and able to use hand tools. Communicate effectively to technician and management on job related issues. Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement efforts Must be able to read and understand Drawings May perform other duties as required Must be able to lift minimum of 35 lbs. Must be able to work over time and travel**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**The candidate should have 5+ years of experience in aircraft sheet metal repairs and must be mechanically inclined, act decisively and have above average communication skills.
