Job Title Systems Satellite Technician DescriptionJob Description: Tasks include integration and installation of satellite communications earth stations.
Installation and testing of amplifiers, modems, fiber optics, UPS etc.
Operational/Range testing of antennas ranging from 1m to 4m.
Repair and maintenance of customer networks.
Provide support for sales demos.
Provide operational training to customers.
Minimal Travel required domestically and internationally.
Must be eligible for secret clearance.
Must be Vaccinated Skills: Telecommunication, Satcom, satellite communication, radio frequency, RF, satellite antennas, testing, documentation, networking, Antenna, testing equipment, test equipment Top Skills Details: Telecommunication Satcom; Satellite Communication Radio frequency Additional Skills & Qualifications: Qualifications: 3 plus years field /military experience with diploma or associates degree in electronics/satellite communications a plus.
Advanced RF and Satellite Communications knowledge required.
Experience using Spectrum Analyzer, power meter, sweeper, signal generator, etc.
VSAT/ MFTDMA skills required.
LAN/WAN/IP networking skills required.
Operational experience with various modem manufacturers like iDirect, Comtech, Viasat, etc.
Understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP,UDP, etc.
