Sanitation Technician

Responsibilities

Maintains the building and grounds including rest rooms, kitchens, office areas, storage areas, warehouse structures, equipment, and supplies in an orderly and sanitary condition.

Cleans and sanitizes all surfaces.

Maintains clean product storage, receiving dock, and general work areas and executes all duties assigned on the Master Cleaning Schedule.

Performs sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, wiping, dusting, squeegeeing and other cleaning duties.

Follows cleaning and sanitizing procedures.

Understands, observes and complies with color-coded cleaning utensil policy and procedures.

Controls, handles, and applies cleaning and sanitizing chemicals safely.

Maintains sanitation equipment in a clean and organized manner.

Documents activities and maintains various logs.

Follows correct allergen zoning practices and ensures compliance with related policies and procedures.

Promotes teamwork by assisting and working in harmony with others.

Follows all safety procedures and guidelines and promotes safe work practices.

Observes all company policies and follows all safety, sanitation rules and regulations.

Performs other warehouse job duties including material handling tasks as assigned.

Operates material handling equipment including scissor lift.

Job Requirements:

Requirements
Basic sanitation experience preferred.High School Diploma required.Ability to work at heights that are above ground level required.Ability to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis required.Proficient written and verbal communication skills preferred.Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task required.Able to work varied hours and overtime required.
