Residential Technician

About the job:

We are hiring a dependable and compassionate Residential Technician (RADT) to support day-to-day operations and client care within our facility. This role involves maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment, supporting clients through early recovery, and assisting the clinical and medical team as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support residents in their daily activities
  • Conduct regular room checks and maintain facility safety protocols
  • Monitor client behavior and document observations accurately
  • Escort clients to groups, appointments, and recreational activities
  • Assist with client admissions, discharges, and urinalysis screenings
  • Communicate client needs or incidents promptly to the clinical team
  • Uphold facility rules, boundaries, and confidentiality
  • Maintain cleanliness of the residential environment

Required Qualification:

  • Current California RADT registration (in good standing)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to stay calm and professional in crisis situations
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varied shifts
  • Valid California driver’s license, provide evidence of vehicle insurance, and be insurable under the company’s insurance policy.

Preferred Qualification:

  • 6+ months of experience working in a substance use treatment setting
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Familiarity with recovery principles and trauma-informed care
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
