Quality Control Technician – Fiber Optics

What You Will Do

  • Test and maintain all field deployable fiber optic cables and convertors
  • Perform all repairs as needed
  • Document service in inventory system and report all damaged equipment to operations
  • Keep area tidy and organize shelf storage of equipment
  • Preparation of custom racks

What You Will Need

  • Positive attitude and ability to work independently
  • Prior experience using an OTDR, Power Meter& Light Source, Fusion Splicer, and Cleaver
  • Prior broadcast video, corporate event, or audiovisual experience
  • High School Diploma or GED. Associates Degree preferred
  • Ability to lift at least 75lbs
