Quality Control Technician

– among other things).
They will be using basic wet chemistry techniques to test finished products, take customer tank and R&D samples and evaluate them against specifications in accordance with documented procedures.
They will also interface with production and company labs on batch status, so communication is important.
This is a very detail oriented job (if it says 10 grams of “A” and 15 of “B”, it’s not 9 grams of “A” and 16 grams of “B”
– must be exact).
They will calibrate all test equipment and maintain proper documentation.
Several samples will be going at once so they must be able to multi task.
All data will be entered into SAP and they will utilize Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Some time will also be spent in physical property testing (ie: viscosity, ph value, etc) Skills: quality, lab, wet chemistry, bachelors, detail oriented, entry level, Quality control Additional Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in chemistry or biology preferred with some chemical handling experience ideal.
