Quality Assurance Technician

nnEssential Duties and Responsibilities Set up and run automated cable test systems for Electrical MIL-STD test processes (Cirris CH+ and MPT-5000) on products presented to QA for in-process and/or final electrical test procedures; organize and maintain test harness and associated set ups equipment inventory, repair and maintenance schedules as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Manufacturing and or inspection experience with molded cable assemblies, wire harnesses, electrical connectors, backshells and wired enclosures.

• Ability to read and interpret customer drawings, specifications, wire schematics. nn n n Job Requirements: n nn
• Must be familiar with current test and measurement technology; ability to perform manual and automated continuity, DWV and Hi Pot testing.

• Working knowledge of MIL Specifications, such as MIL-STD 810 and MIL-STD-202 along with commonly used concepts, practices and procedures.

• Proficient in computer skills, including MS Excel, Word, Outlook.

Knowledge of PC based test systems and parameter driven test programs.

• Ability and flexibility to perform under pressure in a dynamic environment.

• Must be available to work overtime, including weekends, as required to complete priority due dates.

• Proficient in verbal and written communication in English, bilingual in Spanish a plus.nn
