These common characteristics unify the Phenomenex companies worldwide behind our mission “to promote the growth, prosperity and well-being of those we serve – our customers, our employees, and humanity.Production Technician I – SPE (2nd Shift)The Production Technician I – SPE is responsible for manufacturing SPE tubes and well plates; will require excellent organization, good time management, and attention to detail.Duties and responsibilities:* Pack different sorbents in SPE tubes and well plates* Techniques include hand-packing, and either machine packing or well plates* Follow written instructions (SOP) for all critical processes.* Follow all Safety procedures, including wearing appropriate protective equipment.* Prepare sorbent and packing station tools according to written instructions.* Material verification and inspection* Schedule time efficiently to complete work orders in order of priority.* Data entry in AX computer system* Keep all work areas, equipment, and tools neat, clean, and organized.* Maintain and repair the equipment as needed.* Transfer completed tubes/well plates, with documentation, to QA department for inspectionKnowledge, skills and experience:* Typically less than 2 years of experience* Associates Degree or Other Certification preferred.* Ensures all work is accurate and free of errors / defects* Requires analytical thinking and problem solving* Attention to detail, pay specific attention to tasks* Strong organizational skill, plans and assigns resources in a detailed fashionDanaher is a global science & technology innovator committed to helping our customers solve complex challenges and improve quality of life worldwide.
