Xos is searching for a motivated Production Technician to join our team and ensure quality products are delivered on time.
The Production Technician's responsibilities will include supporting the general battery assembly line, performing various tests on products and machines, writing up reports, diagnosing and resolving problems with products, equipment, and general support to the engineering team.To be a successful Production Technician, you should display great attention to detail and a sound understanding of what makes a good product.Responsibilities* General support to the whole battery assembly line* Inspecting machinery, and reporting any faults to management and workers* Ensuring the required materials and consumables are available for production, and that the factory is safe for all workers* Implementing preventative maintenance methods* Staying up-to-date with efficient methods of production and equipment maintenance procedures* Supporting inventory control when necessary* Supporting battery engineering testing when necessarRequirements* A positive attitude and willingness to work overtime when required.* Knowledge of production preferred.* Experience in manufacturing would be advantageous.* Experience with electrical systems would be advantageous.* Mechanically inclined and able to use hand and power tools.* Problem-solving skills.* Good powers of observation.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to provide and receive training.Benefits* Xos is on a mission to make fleets more efficient while lowering their carbon footprint.* Xos is a fast-paced startup work environment where team members wear many hats and are expected to take on more responsibility than they may be accustomed to.* Quality of work output, passion, and problem solving are more important to us than pedigree and titles.* Xos team members enjoy seeing their work output in the form of a real-world, market-ready product.
