Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space and Security is seeking a Senior Power Test Technician to join our Space and Launch Division on our Satellite Systems Team.
This team manages the company’s major commercial and government satellite and ground programs for communications, national defense and other missions.
This position is located in El Segundo, CA.

You will be a leader in space Innovation.Position Responsibilities:Works from schematics, test procedures and specifications, data sheets, wiring diagrams, software instructions and verbal and written instructions.Assists engineering in the design, procurement, build and check out of unit test equipment, test and evaluation of software programming and test procedures.Utilizes specialized and commercial test equipment, computers and related equipment to perform manual and automated evaluation, performance and environmental tests on power supplies and power related units.Troubleshoots hardware and equipment including minor unit manipulations, tear downs, select resistors for installation and performing wire and component checks.Performs any performance or environmental tests for power supplies, power related units.
Isolates unit anomalies by troubleshooting to the component level.
Communicates justifications for troubleshoot findings on failed units and general unit status verbally and in writing.Performs test data management activities including data trending and evaluation, collects and documents test data and other metric, initiates test anomaly reports and make verbal and written reports as required.May provide assistance to personnel in same or lower related job classifications.Meet necessary certification as required.Performs incidental related duties as assigned or required.This position requiresthe ability to obtain U.S.
Security Clearance, for which the U.S.
Government requires U.S.
Citizenship.BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Experience with specialized and commercial test equipment, computers and related equipment to perform manual and automated testing.Experience with unit diagnostics including rework recommendation.Experience in assist engineering in final checkout and redlining of new test procedures, test equipment drawings, test fixtures and software.Experienceand/or education inelectrical testing conceptsRelocation:This position does not offer relocation.
