Job Description
ARC is looking for a caring and dynamic full-time Behavioral Technician.
As an ARC Behavioral Technician, you will have the opportunity to offer therapeutic treatment to clients with incredibly diverse backgrounds.
You will be able to leverage all your skills to touch the lives of each of our clients.
Conducts property searches of clients as required.
Performs urine drug screening testing of clients as required.
Provides transportation services including client transportation/supervision, errands, shopping, pick-ups etc.
(must be pre-qualified to drive our vehicles and clients).
Observes and monitors clients’ behavior and interactions.
Documentation in communication log.
Maintains awareness of client schedules and personal time.
Completion of Med training required.
Conducts regular house and grounds checks, advising supervisor of any irregularities.
Assists in keeping grounds and facility safe and clean.
Attends all staff meetings, in-service trainings, and educational workshops Assembly, breakdown and quality assurance of client charts, light filing, and answering of telephones.
This is a full-time overnight position that will work 11pm-7am.
Qualifications
High School or GED Diploma 1 – 2 years of experience in a similar position or similar function.
Registration in approved counselor certification program obtained within 3 months from hire.
(example CCAPP).
Some prior knowledge of drug/alcohol dependency and mental health issues.
Valid Class “C” Driver’s License and liability insurance.
Medication training required within 30 days of employment First Aid, AED, and CPR certification, obtain within 30 days of employment and maintain current thereafter 1-year minimum sobriety, if in recovery Competencies: Communicate effectively with clients, co-workers, and supervisor
