NOC IP Technician

An employer is looking for a NOC IP Technician in the Frisco, TX area.

You will be primarily responsible for remotely supporting the client’s network in a 24X7 environment.

You will be troubleshooting tier 1-2 tickets that are routed to your que as well and escalate to the upper level teams if you are unable to resolve.

These issues will surround around Cisco IP and security primarily.

The environment is mostly made up of Cisco technologies and you will also work closely with product vendors for product maintenance, testing, upgrades, etc.

Desired Skills and Experience 5 Years experience in a NOC/ network troubleshooting role Strong IP network background, proven background in break/fix and network monitoring Extensive knowledge of Cisco technologies, routers, switches, etc.

Very knowledgeable on BGP and OSPF Active CCNA or CCNP certification (Strong knowledge on the physical topology on switching/ routing) Flexible schedule, able to work days, nights, weekends, etc.

Security knowledge, Checkpoint firewalls, A10/ F5 load balancers Plusses Security experience (Checkpoint) Military experience
