We are looking for a Maintenance Technician, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, who will assist in maintaining, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance on various manufacturing equipment, in addition to the responsibilities listed below.
Responsibilities: Troubleshooting mechanical/electrical issues on all production equipment and complete corrective actions.Make necessary repairs and adjustments to maintain maximum production.
Understand and perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance on the facility, production, packaging, and material handling equipment.Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instruments and equipment.
Collects, records, and properly maintains data/log books for preventative and predictive maintenance.Advise management of any and all maintenance related issues.Adhere to all plant and safety rules and regulations that are required to perform the duties of this position.Be certified as a “Qualified Person” for work on motor controllers/motor control centers operating at 110/220/480 VAC/VDC.Troubleshoot and make simple repairs to AC and DC motor, motor controls, breakers, and switches.Trouble shooting and programming a PLC (programmable logic controller).Safely operate forklifts and other material handling devices to move equipment and related components to needed machine operations: Maintenance, Production Lines, and Shipping & Receiving.Perform data entry of work order completion into a CMMS software system as needed.Perform other requested functions related to plant operations as customer requirements and production demands dictate.Be on call and able to respond to all work-related assignments during working hours.To have good listening skills, works well with other team members.Be willing to be a Team Player with everyone in every department.
