TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:The position holder is required to initiate activities and actions and administrative procedures within their field of responsibility including:Performing routine and preventive maintenance, repairs and other line maintenance of aircraft, components, and related equipment in accordance with specified manuals, procedures and EASA regulations.Ensure duties are accomplished in accordance with EASA and Cargolux procedures and standards laid out in the Cargolux Maintenance Manual Exposition (MME).Has responsibility for leading, supervising individuals or teams, both company and outside vendor organizations.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:Hold FAA A& P licenseAn EASA Part 66 AML B1/B2 license would be a distinct advantageMinimum 5 experience in an aircraft maintenance support environment, preferably with release to service privilegesAbility to independently troubleshoot aircraft systems, have excellent aircraft systems and technical knowledge. Capable to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and evaluate structural damageB747-400 and/or B747-8 aircraft maintenance experience will be considered as an advantageAbility to work both independently and integrate with fellow station membersGood interpersonal and organizational skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsFluency in written and spoken English, other languages are a distinct advantageHave good standard knowledge of MS Office: Excel, Word, OutlookBe prepared to travel when requiredPossess a valid passport and driver’s licenseMust legally be able to work in the United StatesLive or relocate to the Los Angeles areaWORKING CONDITIONS:The position demands a regular and full-time presencePrepared to travel when requiredWilling to work shifts 24/7/365Stand-by availability may be requiredWork in adverse/outdoor conditions
