Maintenance Representative LAX

TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:(br /((br /(The position holder is required to initiate activities and actions and administrative procedures within their field of responsibility including:(br /((br /(Performing routine and preventive maintenance, repairs and other line maintenance of aircraft, components, and related equipment in accordance with specified manuals, procedures and EASA regulations.(br /(Ensure duties are accomplished in accordance with EASA and Cargolux procedures and standards laid out in the Cargolux Maintenance Manual Exposition (MME).(br /(Has responsibility for leading, supervising individuals or teams, both company and outside vendor organizations.(br /((br /(ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:(br /((br /(Hold FAA A&P license(br /(An EASA Part 66 AML B1/B2 license would be a distinct advantage(br /(Minimum 5 experience in an aircraft maintenance support environment, preferably with release to service privileges(br /(Ability to independently troubleshoot aircraft systems, have excellent aircraft systems and technical knowledge.

Capable to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and evaluate structural damage(br /(B747-400 and/or B747-8 aircraft maintenance experience will be considered as an advantage(br /(Ability to work both independently and integrate with fellow station members(br /(Good interpersonal and organizational skills(br /(Good verbal and written communication skills(br /(Fluency in written and spoken English, other languages are a distinct advantage(br /(Have good standard knowledge of MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook(br /(Be prepared to travel when required(br /(Possess a valid passport and driver’s license(br /(Must legally be able to work in the United States(br /(Live or relocate to the Los Angeles area(br /((br /(WORKING CONDITIONS:(br /((br /(The position demands a regular and full-time presence(br /(Prepared to travel when required(br /(Willing to work shifts 24/7/365(br /(Stand-by availability may be required(br /(Work in adverse/outdoor conditions
