JOB DUTIES
- Inspects, tests, repairs, and maintains the electrical and mechanical systems in a safe manner within a food or beverage manufacturing facility.
- Supports the operation of a fast-paced packaging manufacturing facility.
- Troubleshoots and repairs hydraulic and pneumatic mechanical systems including valves, solenoids, and manual and automatic controls.
- Inspects, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, installs, and maintains electrical equipment of varying voltages, including but not limited to 0V through 480v.
- Must be able to use hand tools, electrical hand tools, and various other tools and machines.
- Must have industrial maintenance and troubleshooting experience
- Experience maintaining & troubleshooting processing machinery, palletizing equipment packaging & processing equipment.
- Equipment installations and relocations or product lines.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or GED.
- 4+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic within a manufacturing environment.
- Basic experience with PLC Hardware and Software.
- Previous experience with mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, pneumatic systems and valves, hydraulic systems and valves, conveyor systems, compressors, large rotating equipment, boilers, refrigeration and other continuous process equipment.
- Shift flexibility and ability to work overtime as needed.
