As servant leaders, we lead by example.Brief Role DescriptionThe Maintenance lead technician serves as a liaison between the Maintenance Manager and the Maintenance Technicians, ensuring priorities are aligned and overseeing the execution of work. This role is responsible for supervising the daily work of the maintenance team, ensuring work is completed accurately and within the expected timeframe. The lead technician will provide guidance and directions when needed and helps actively solving problems on anything related to low voltage and basic automation tasks. HE will also be managing the maintenance spare parts program. This role does not have direct reports.Areas of Accountability* Manage and supervise the daily execution of maintenance work, which includes ensuring parts and supplies are available, planning and assigning work, providing effective and timely team communication of work status and updates, and overseeing the work to ensure efficient and accurate completion of tasks.* Accurately complete all necessary documentation, which may include documentation related to preventative maintenance, preparation for an internal reliability audit, etc.* Develops SOPs and troubleshooting guides.* Perform maintenance work alongside maintenance technicians; assist in training maintenance technicians and provide guidance to the team on work procedures.* Assist with troubleshooting as needed.* Create an improvement plan for preventive and predictive maintenance.* Develop, implement, and share beneficial standards and work procedures.* Work diligently with all departments to find permanent solutions to reoccurring problems or issues. Participate in and/or lead root cause analysis of down time events.* Maintain a positive approach in a fast-paced dynamic work environment.* May be expected to manage spare parts inventory and/or manage maintenance costs within budget.* Provide support for technical teams within the plant.Contribute to the development of the local maintenance team according to Rehrigs core valuesCore Performance Behaviors: Living Our Values, Customer Focus, Managing Complexity, Ensuring Accountability, Managing Conflict, Driving Engagement, Directing Work.* Coach and lead the maintenance team in alignment with and exemplifying our core values. Specific experience with Krauss Maffei machines a plus.* Proven ability to develop and implement processes from ground up.* Ability to manage multiple projects and experience with project management tools.* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and departments.* Experience with Robots and automation* Experience with Lean Enterprise, including 5S, kaizen, Kanban, visual controls, root cause analysis, and problem solving.* Emphasis on & knowledge of safe work practices required (OSHA, NEC, etc.)* Experience with CMMS Systems
