The Nondestructive Testing technician will independently perform inspections utilizing various advanced NDT (MFL/UT) techniques seeking corrosion, defects, or detrimental conditions in accordance with specific written criteria.

The Technician will perform inspections, interpret indications, and report results per company requirements.

The Technician will be able to communicate processes, procedures, and results to customers.

Responsibilities: Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results Organize and report test results Perform specialized inspections May instruct and supervise others Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management Competencies: Strong work ethic Dependable Exceptional safety and quality awareness Mechanical aptitude Adaptable to changing schedules Exceptional attention to detail Ability to work in a team Ability to follow directions and procedures Excellent verbal and written communication skills Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Some college preferred NDT Level II UT Preferred Level II MFL Certification 40 Hour Radiation Safety Certification Required Technical background in NDT methods and procedures with five years phased array experience Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections Knowledge of NDT equipment Benefits: Competitive Salary Medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance 401K Plan Paid Holidays Paid Time Off Acuren Inspection, Inc.
