Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

Job description

Seeking an EXPERIENCED maintenance mechanic with knowledge of heavy duty truck equipment. Electrical experience is a plus.

Nightly inspection of company vehicles (tires, oil, antifreeze, lights) and maintaining vehicle appearance (cleaning and detailing).

Assist main mechanic with regular maintenance of commercial trucks and trailers.

Address mechanical issues daily.

Keep records of maintenance on file.

Maintain our yard clean and organized.

The ideal candidate must be clean, detail oriented, organized, responsible and reliable!

Job Type: Part-time or Full-Time

Starting Pay: $25.00 – DOE

Experience:
* Diesel Engine, Truck & Heavy Equipment Mechanics: 2 years (Preferred)
* Diesel engine repair: 2 years (Preferred)
* Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (Preferred)
