Requisition Number: 34323 Job Title: TELEVISION TECHNICIAN, SENIOR Working Title: Equipment Office Senior Technician Salary: $32.49 – $39.11 hourly Job Type: Career Department Name: 0464-FILM, TELEVISION & DIGITAL MEDIA Department Website URL: www.tft.ucla.edu Job Summary Statement: Incumbent’s job duties include: independently tests, operates, modifies, repairs, schedules, checks out and supervises the use of film, television and digital media and audio equipment and systems used throughout the department.

Major duties include: devising and managing sophisticated quality control systems for all film, television, digital media and audio equipment. Troubleshooting and repair of defective equipment. Simultaneous and ongoing consultation with faculty, researchers, equipment vendors and staff to develop, manage and maintain myriad equipment and systems equipment check out programs for departmental and other uses. Training and supervision film, television, digital media and audio equipment items and systems operation processes for faculty and researchers. Training and supervision of staff in operation, troubleshooting and repair work on large variety of film, television, digital media and audio equipment items and systems. Percentage of Time: 100% Shift Start: 9:00 am Shift End: 6:00 pm Qualifications for Position
