As an Engineering Technician III (SCADA) you will provide day to day SCADA operations support requiring diagnostic knowledge and experience to troubleshoot SCADA software / hardware and process control applications within specialized areas of SCADA including: client/server applications; network and security infrastructures; Oracle and other database systems; and server hardware and software.
You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge and experience with: Industrial Control System (ICS) LAN / WAN networking and security infrastructures; best practices in SCADA network architecture and security design; vulnerability scanning; and log aggregation correlation technologies. You will also work closely with IT network and project management teams, and SCADA network/security consultants overseeing the design, development, proof of concept, and upgrade of Metropolitans SCADA network communications infrastructure.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: High school diploma or High School Equivalency Certificate, and two years of accredited college or university in engineering and six years of relevant experience, two years of which must have been at the Engineering Technician II level.
Relevant Experience is defined as: industrial control systems and at least two years experience with support and maintenance of network communication systems
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
License(s): Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
