Hello!
Our client is a major name in the manufacturing and distribution of lighting technology for the film and entertainment industries. More specifically, they deal with dimmers that get installed into said lights. We are searching for a professional and diligent Repair Technician to join our client’s main operation in the city of Van Nuys.
As the Repair Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs on all rental equipment, putting priority based on what items have been rented out and returned. You will also be:
- Maintain a clean and healthy work environment
- Performing QC and electrical troubleshooting utilizing testing equipment
- Organizing the workshop
- Letting customers know on product information and specifications
- Other major warehouse duties as needed, which can include shipping out orders, receiving incoming orders and QC testing.
Our client has multiple shifts open for this position. You are free to choose which shift works best for your schedule:
- 1st Shift – 7 am to 3:30 pm
- 2nd Shift – 3 pm to 11:30 pm
Job Requirements:
This is a full time, temp to hire position. Please keep in mind that you may be asked to work overtime if needed.
This is what we are looking for in candidates:
- You have at least 6 months recent work history (Working, Volunteering or Attending School)
- You have Valid Documentation to prove your right to work in the USA
- You have a high school diploma or higher level of education
- You have at least a year in electrical troubleshooting
- You are punctual, and results driven
- You are open to working with a team
- You are able to do Overtime if needed
- You know how to utilize all the tools needed (You have done QC/Electrical Testing before)
