Dynamometer Engine Test Technician – 2nd Shift

The Engine Development Dyno Technician supports the Engineering Community in the development of hardware and calibrations for internal combustion engines to be used in future OEM vehicles.

This role provides the information to make decisions that affect quality, durability, and performance the customer will experience.

As a Technician, the individual will report to the Group Leader assigned to his/her assigned area of responsibility.

They will receive daily assignments through their Team Leader and work side by side with the Test Engineers, Calibrators, and Suppliers to support the testing equirements in the Engine Dyno Test Cells.

The Technician will be responsible for mechanical work and maintenance of the test article and executing the test plan.

Responsibilities are a mix of standardized work and unique situations that require a level of innovation and analytical thinking.
