The Digital Content Technician is responsible for creating digital media deliverables in various formats for film and television.

Technical knowledge of post production and digital media packages, including video formats / codecs, subtitles / closed captions, audio, metadata and artwork is necessary.

Responsibilities include video and audio editorial; transcoding & encoding; frame rate conversions; video mastering; subtitle reformats; audio conforms; metadata creation / editorial.

Advanced knowledge of video encoding and transcoding systems is essential.

A familiarity with IMF packages and experience processing UHD media is preferred.

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, maintains a positive attitude, and is flexible to changing production priorities.

Key Requirements include:
Audio and video program editing, conversion, compression, encoding and quality assurance testing for streaming and theatrical releases
Knowledge of UHD content and IMF
Working knowledge of mastering tools, including but not limited to Colorfront Transkoder, DaVinci Resolve, Vantage, Aurora, Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere.
Experienced working in subtitling applications, such as Mac Caption and EZ Titles
Identify and address errors in media assets that may arise during the creation and conforming of production materials
Efficiently utilize various audio and video production tools (audio/video tape machines, compression systems, encoders, etc.)
Create and review metadata deliverables in various formats, including XML and JSON
Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
Ability to operate under high pressure situations and handle time-sensitive content
Effective communicator and positive team player
Must be able to work flexible hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00
– $40.00 per hour

Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
Final Cut Pro: 1 year (Preferred)
Adobe Premiere: 1 year (Preferred)
