<div>Alamon, Inc. has immediate openings for a DC Power Survey Technician based out of California. This is an opportunity to join our expanding Network Services department while being challenged and rewarded in a rapidly growing industry.  The DC Power Survey Technician will need to be familiar with Transport Networks which include DWDM, CWDM, ROADM, Optical SONET, Ethernet, and Adtran solutions.  The ideal candidate will collaborate with Alamon Engineers to ensure that all necessary information is collected to produce accurately engineered documents.</div>

Job Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge of DWDM, CWDM, ROADM, including Ciena, Alcatel, Lucent, Ethernet, SONET, DACS technologies is a plus not all needed.
  • 2 -5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry preferred.
  • problem-solving, project management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management skills to manage on-time information.
  • Highly intuitive analytical, strategic, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Microsoft Office tools expert; Excel, Word, Outlook, and Vision.
  • Ability to work collaboratively together towards a common goal.
  • Self-directed and motivated, highly focused on customer goals.
  • Creative and innovative problem-solving.
  • Strong use of interpersonal skills, creativity, and communication in all forms.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
  • Must pass a background check and MVR
Work Environment:
  • Employees may be subjected to noise levels which may range from low volume to high and will be required to wear personal protective equipment.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to climb a ladder and work at heights.
  • Be able to work in tight spaces and stairwells.
  • Use of personal protective equipment will be required as needed.
