Dairy Farm Equipment Operator and Maintenance Specialist-4026

Position offers a variety of options on a 200 cow robotic dairy in Southeastern Wisconsinthat strives to stay advanced with technology.

In addition to the dairy, owners have a custom chopping business for hay and corn silage.

The equipment line-up includes a triple mower, continuous merger, silage trucks, and FR500 self-propelled chopper.

Most of our customers have bunkers, but operate a self-propelled bagger when needed.

Besides field work, the position involves scraping out barns with a skid-loader, hauling manure, bedding barns with sand, and moving animals when switching barns.

During the harvest off-season, maintain and repair equipment for owners and for local farmers.

Additional hours are available working with the dairy cows, if the chosen candidate is interested.

Qualifications include a Driver’s license with good driving record, reliable and self-motivated team player, knowledge and experience maintaining and repairing equipment and willingness to work flexible hours during harvest season.

The farm is located in Watertown, WI which is centrally located between Milwaukee and Madison.
