ROLE SUMMARY The Coordinator, Facilities Maintenance and Safety will play an important role in providing secure, healthy and thriving environments for scholars and staff that facilitate 21st-century learning. This position reports directly to the Director, Facilities Maintenance and Safety and provides administrative and general support needed to help the team to complete their day-to-day and priority work on behalf of Alliance campuses across Los Angeles. This role is funded through a restricted funding source that is anticipated to last until June 30, 2025. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain the work order system, including assigning and tracking tickets, supporting timely response and resolution, pulling weekly reports; Support the vendor procurement process for the Facilities team by assisting with obtaining vendor information, and processing expense reports, invoices/POs, contracts, and other purchase transactions; Maintain updated team and school facing resources (e.g. vendor lists, policies and procedures); Assist with scheduling team meetings and events, preparing materials, and coordinating logistics; Provide general administrative support to the Director; Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS No professional work experience required;

HS Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.); Proficient use of Microsoft Office and Google-based applications highly desired. WORK LOCATION This position is a hybrid role which will include a combination of working from home, our network office, and travel to school sites. The successful candidate will be given a $400 work from home set-up allowance and receive a monthly stipend of $100. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS In alignment with our commitment to equity for our scholars, Alliance is committed to equity and transparency for our team and offers competitive salaries commensurate with experience as well as generous retirement and health benefits. This position is exempt/nonexempt Compensation: Alliance provides a competitive salary. Based on relevant prior work experience, our hourly pay range for this role is $24.00 – $33.65.

Relocation: Individuals residing outside of the Greater Los Angeles area are eligible for a relocation bonus of $5,000 for individuals and $7,500 new staff with families/partners.

Health Insurance: Medical, dental, and vision plans options that are covered at 100% of monthly premiums for individual employees and at least $1,000 per month towards medical family plan premiums. Please click HERE for more information on retirement. Paid Leave: Regular full-time 12-month employees receive 8.5 weeks of vacation and paid time off. Additionally, full-time employees accrue 3 weeks of flexible paid time off per year and receive 27 other paid holidays as part of our network calendar.
