seeks a full-time carpenter to perform COMMERCIAL FACILITY MAINTENANCE This position is full-time in a professional environment.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills: Journeyman knowledge: Reading Plans Lay-out projects Material take offs Metal framing Overall finished carpentry (doors, hardware, cabinetry) General Knowledge of: Basic electrical Basic plumbing Drywall installation Tape and texture Have solid knowledge of general construction processes and procedures Attention to detail, organized, and strong communication skills Strong work ethic and craftsmanship Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to assess basic facility problems and repairs including doors, hardware, windows, faucets, etc.
Minimum of 3-5 years work experience in the construction trade Working in a hospital setting a plus Founded in 2005, NorCal Builders, Inc., design/build firm specializing in residential remodeling and light commercial tenant improvement projects.
