Licensures/Certification:
Current certification through IAHCSMM, CBSPD, or CRCST
Must successfully complete and maintain LA City Fire Card certification at the time of hire
Must have BLS Certification from AHA
Minimum Requirements:
Must be Covid Vaccinated for this position
1-2+ years of experience in Central Service, Sterile Processing or Operation Room environment with basic product knowledge, distribution par level cart techniques and warehousing procedures: required.
Knowledge of sterilization techniques, procedures, infection control, workflow principles and requirements, equipment, and supply processing, including cleaning, inspection, and assembly.
Knowledge of surgical supplies and instrument sets to pull surgery cases is preferred.
Ability to make sound decisions and perform with minimal supervision.
Basic Computer proficiency and ability to work with electronic information systems.
Must know or learn terminology of the department with numerous synonyms.
